Shopping for Basics

This page will help you with shopping for basic sewing resources. Although we provide these items as part of your course, we suggest you purchase your own for future sewing and to reinforce what you have learnt. 

What you will need? 

• Scissors especially if you are left handed you will want to have your own fabric scissors
• Pins not cheap ones, dressmakers pins are best
• Needles 
• Threads
• Fabric
