Do you need to buy a pattern?

The links below take you to the main online pattern shopping sites. You can also search for things like 50's/60's, ethnic/culture, men/women/children, skirts/dresses/trousers, etc. etc.

Most patterns come in multiple sizes.

They are relatively expensive. We have patterns you can copy and adapt.

Although pattern cutting is not part of the Level 1 accreditation you can learn the basics on this course. Just provide a sketch and measurements, and if you have garment/s you would like to copy or use as a starting point.

It can be easier to use a pattern first time to help you get used to the language and terminology.
