    We have now completed the delivery of Unit 2. Safeguarding and Child Protection.

    You can now work towards completing all tasks within the unit.

    Refer to your class notes, PowerPoint presentation and handouts for the unit.

    Unit 3 Cont:

    Complete learning outcome 1.1 and 1.2 . Complete Learning outcomes 2.2 and 3.1,3.2,3.3.

    We have already discussed 2.1 and 4.1, 4.2 during delivery of Unit 1 team exercise

    UNIT 2

    Create a Safe Environment for Young Children

    This session we covered the learning outcomes 
    Learning Outcomes 1.1 & 1.4  1. 2 , 1.3    2.1, 2.2, 2.4

    Learning outcome  1.1  there are two versions of this. One sheet with boxes or four sheets choose which ever suits your device.

    Unit 5 Cont:

    We also spoke about planning activities. Use the planning sheets x3 for  (1.2,1.3,1.4) choosing three different activities for children. The sample planning sheet can be found in the documents. 

    You will need to provide evidence of how you have provided an activity with  child/ren. You need to choose three different activities.(2.1, 2.2, 2.3) Please open and read the session 5 presentation as this will explain what you need to do. Complete assessment criteria's 3.1, 3.2 ,3.3 . Assessment 3.4 will be discussed with your tutor. 

    Unit 4 Equality of Opportunity 

    We have now started the knowledge aspect to begin this unit. Download the presentation to go over the issues discussed

    Complete the learning outcomes we have already discussed- (1.1,  1.6,) (1.4 & 1.7)

    Unit 5  Providing for Play

    The session will start to look at the  Learning outcomes for Unit 5. 

    The Development matters EYFS document may help you with Unit 5  1.1  It is a valuable document which enables you to explore the breadth of EYFS . There are two versions for this learning outcome. One with and without grid boxes. Choose the one which best suits you.

    We will continue with this unit 5 next week please DONOT complete any other learning outcome in this unit yet
